Misha Venegoni is a self-taught Bangladeshi-born artist currently based in New York. Her work explores the intersections of personal memory, cultural identity, and emotional transformation—often through intricate line work, symbolism, and surrealistic themes.
Working with pencil, colored pencil, acrylics, and mixed media, she uses layered textures and symbolism to create pieces that feel both raw and reflective to satirical and insightful. Much of her art centers around the feminine spirit, healing from trauma, and reclaiming space as an immigrant woman of color.
Inspired by nature, poetry, and the subconscious, her work is a visual meditation—quietly powerful and deeply personal.
Currently, Misha is an artist-in-residence at the TIME TO BE HAPPY gallery in SoHo, NY

Misha Venegoni is a self-taught artist who moved to US in 2019 from Dhaka, Bangladesh. Even though she drew and worked as a creative in advertising during her early career days, she stepped into the art scene by showing her work in public for the first time in March, 2025. Since then, the artist has participated in multiple shows and become an active member in the community.
